Sen NYC is a classically-rooted modern Japanese restaurant located in the Flatiron District of Manhattan. The 120 seat venue, designed by award-winning architect Andre Kikoski, offers lunch & dinner and features modern Japanese cuisine from Executive Chef Bryan Emperor, Southeast Region winner of Food & Wine ‘2011 The People’s Best New Chef’, and Head Sushi Chef Hiro Sawatari, a long-tenured New York City head sushi chef, formerly of renowned sushi restaurants like Hatsuhana, Megu and Sushi Yasuda. The menu at Sen boasts classic Japanese dishes with a modern twist, including signatures like the Wagyu Croquette (katsu sauce & foie gras center), Steak Ishi Yaki (filet mignon, spike shell butter, kinome, mitsuba cress), Mero (mero sea bass, crisp puffed rice, black goma ponzu sauce), and the Pink Monk sushi roll (soy paper, seasoned hijiki, kampyo, daikon, avocado, asparagus, shitake, micro greens). In addition, Sen NYC offers an extensive, hand-selected sake list, a broad and exciting wine selection as well as inventive signature cocktails such as the Sake Martini, a Sag Harbor favorite.
